Malcolm, I remember clearly Retief Goosen three putting from about 10 feet on the final hole of the 2001 US Open to get into a playoff with Mark Brooks - which he did win. As you say, the topic is near to the hearts of all golfers because we've all missed 2 foot putts. Thank you for putting the trauma in terms of laughter instead of tears.
Which is still 2 less than what Annika Sorenstam missed during the last 6 holes in the 2nd Round of the Colonial. :(
