Song Parodies -> "Beyond Santa Clarita"

Original Song Title:

"Wheeling, West Virginia"

Original Performer:

Neil Sedaka

Parody Song Title:

"Beyond Santa Clarita"

Parody Written by:

Fifth Troll of Magic Mountain

The Lyrics

Santa Ana, becoming Golden State,
Up through Santa Suzanna Pass,
The 14 junction, fringes of Newhall,
Valencia New Town--
Who still recalls us, furry and fun-loving,
Magic Mountain Parkway?
And are you wondering what exactly became
Of those onetime Trolls there?

They've since retired, beyond Santa Clarita,
Needing a little more
Of Vitamin F beyond Santa Clarita--
They need it all the more....

That Vitamin F, their fun vitamin, that
California Trolls needed
Just to stay active, just to survive;
That was the main reason
We have Magic Mountain, or so the legend
Explains to us all,
And I seem to wonder what they're now up to
When you ask of those Trolls--

(repeat CHORUS)

I think they'd be surfing, and even swimming,
And doing some diving, too,
Maybe backpacking, maybe some trekking
Across the Southland, methinks;
That way, I assume, their Vitamin F dose
Remains as it ever was,
Not to mention encountering other Trolls
Not unlike their own....

(repeat CHORUS)
