The Lyrics

What a life he has had. Soo much in entertainment done by Michael, it became quite difficult to find the right song for this man's legacy. But damn it. I did it for Dustin Diamond, I can do it for Meat Loaf. I settled on a ballad from Bat Out of Hell. Long enough to cover a lot of details with no padding required. Enjoy.
(Verse 1)
Son of teacher and drunk dad
High school football is what I had
I was tackling
(When) my coach gave, me a name

Motown with Stoney after Hair
Jim was my guy that gave me the flair
Movie acting
From the Rockkky Horror Show

(Verse 2)
And the family in Connecticut towns
We moved us all out to the west
And I’m writing and recording all
With my social anxiety test
Oh I got used, to, touring for some forty years
My motorcycle gimmick always, brought in the cheers
And I ate like a vegan
Pass meeee the kale
Fan of Yankees beckon
“How did this team faiiiiiiil”

(Verse 3)
It may be a dead ringer who
Couldn’t have said it better
When he was lost and found at midnight
A Los Angeloser
Oh a musician named after food
When I started out as a day
Made my given name a Marvin
Ev’ry night I did pray
A sheriff, a coach, and driver
My rock ‘n roll dreams came true
When the bat left hell for heaven
Like Betty White, Bob Saget,
Louie Anderson and other legends
Lost in ‘22

(Chorus)
And all that I’ve done
There’s more I can’t do
And all that I’ve done
There’s more I can’t do
And all that I’ve done
There’s more I can’t do

(Verse 4)
It was then on NBC
After cussing Gary Busey
I was helping
The elephants taking power

My talents were uncanny
In the 90’s won a Grammy
I was lying
Telling Trump, I’d vote for him

(Verse 5)
And the family in Connecticut towns
We moved us all out to the west
And I’m writing and recording all
With my social anxiety test
Oh I got used, to, touring for some forty years
My motorcycle gimmick always, brought in the cheers
And I ate like a vegan
Pass meeee the kale
Fan of Yankees beckon
“How did this team faiiiiiiiiiiiiil”

(Verse 6)
It may be a dead ringer who
Couldn’t have said it better
When he was lost and found at midnight
A Los Angeloser
Oh a musician named after food
When I started out as a day
Made my given name a Marvin
Ev’ry night I did pray
A sheriff, a coach, and driver
My rock ‘n roll dreams came true
When the bat left hell for heaven
Like Betty White, Bob Saget,
Louie Anderson and other legends
Lost in ‘22
(Chorus)
And all that I’ve done
There’s more I can’t do
And all that I’ve done
There’s more I can’t do
And all that I’ve done
There’s more I can’t do
And all that I’ve done
There’s more I can’t do

(Bridge)
For taking my songs, and a musical on stage
For believing in freedom, when I reached old age
My, oh my, for that I’m grateful
For telling Greta Thunberg, that she’s been brainwashed
For cleaning all my ripped jeans using acid-washed
Don’t you know for that I’m thankful

For buying all my merchandise from ev’ry tour
For live performance injuries, which I endure
And you gotta know
For that I’m grateful

For being sued and bankrupt in the mid-eighties
For singing some collabs, with famous ladies
And all in all it was wonderful

For the Neverland Express who always backed me up
For the AFL performance that was a cockup
Oh Lorrrrrrd it was delightful

(Chorus)
I built rock opera
And all that I’ve done
There’s more I can’t do
I built rock opera
And all that I’ve done
There’s more I can’t do
I built rock opera
And all that I’ve done
There’s more I can’t do

(Outro)
After allllllllll that I’ve donnnnnnne
There’s more I can’t do
R.I.P. Meat loaf. I'll never look at comfort food the same way. Can't wait for the Brit Awards tribute. Also, not doing a Louie Anderson tribute despite the options out there with Brother Louie.
