"Sweet Home Alabama"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Lynyrd Skynyrd

Parody Song Title:

"My Name's Edgar Stiles"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

edgar on 24, what more can you say
Fat fingers keep on typing
Trying to hack the back way in
Thinking thoughts about my donuts
I miss my Crispy Creme once again
And I think its a sin

Well I heard Almeida was almost killed
Well, I heard the terrorists knocked him out
Well, I hope Almeida doesn't die now
Cause Jack is going to need him around anyhow

Chorus:
My name's Edgar Stiles
I work for CTU
My name's Edgar Stiles
Chloe, I really want to screw

In L.A. they killed the President
And Jack did all what he could do
Now Walt Cummings really bothers me
Does his treason bother you?
Tell the truth

Chorus + Here I come, Edgar Stiles

Now Lynn McGill was a Hobbit
I think he might have been Rudy too
Why do I get made fun of
They say my lisp is funny too
Now how about you?

Chorus

My name's Edgar Stiles
Oh Edgar Stiles
Chloe, I really want to screw
And my love is so true
My name's Edgar Stiles
Chloe
Chloe, I really want to screw
Yea, yea I got the answer

First of all, welcome to the site!! I gave you a 5 on pacing, because what I could make out, paced well. However, I did get lost in the parody and didn't know the subject...so a 2 on funny. This may be helpful to you, unless you've read it already. It's on the messageboard...http://www.inthe00s.com/index.php?topic=17553.new#new

Again...Welcome!!

Welcome to Amiright! It's not every day that both Sweet Home Alabama and Southern Man are parodied on the same day. I've never watched 24, but I love this song. Maybe next, you'll do a song about House to the tune of Freebird. That would be hilarious, though I don't watch it either. 545

Had to give you props for recognizing one of 24's best characters. I will miss him terribly. Your parody was great!
