I am really upset with Lynyrd Skynyrd for doing a TV concert and NOT playing "Freebird." That's like a Led Zeppelin concert without "Stairway to Heaven." Anyway, enjoy my plea to Lynyrd Skynyrd to get them to play "Freebird."
(Long instrumental intro: I am watching a 34-minute Lynyrd Skynyrd concert on TV, waiting to hear the greatest song they ever wrote, but realize that time is running out. I am air-guitaring the intro with my eyes closed and my head nodding.)
Came to see Lynyrd Skynyrd
Set's down to the final three
For they must play all their old songs
And I'm watching it all on my TV
I need not pay a dollar
Think I'm probably gonna faint
'Cause they did not play "Freebird" now
And they cannot leave the stage

No "Freebird"? That's so insane!!!
