I agree. Cursing loses it's effect when grossly overdone. I'm no prude, I work in a male dominated field and I sometimes do it. When a movie has all the cuss words dubbed out it's funny as hel--eck. South Park did an episode where they said the "S" word 163 times. It was brilliant, because the message was cursing creates a curse when you overdo it. One of the things I admired about M.A.S.H. was that Colonel Potter gave the "impression" of salty language without actually cussing. This to me takes far more writing skill and articulation. I think you can "Keep it real" without the crude.
