The Lyrics

Please don't take these lyrics seriously... 'twas just an idea. :)
What has happened to this world?
Too much filth around, I fear
'Cause I don't want anyone swearing
And there's too many words I don't like to hear

So can't we clean up our language?
Throw profanities away?
'Cause I hate these naughty words now
So these words you cannot say, oh
No, these words you cannot say
I don't want to hear you swear
Oh no, don't you swear

Hey, don't you call me the C-word, no
Or a stupid S.O.B.
And F'n P ain't my nickname
Just call me ABD

Now can't we please watch our language?
Swearing's just so yesterday
'Cause I hate these naughty words now
So these words you cannot say, oh
No, these words you cannot say
Oh, and these words you cannot say
Oh no, don't you swear
Don't do it, don't you swear

No, don't you swear
Don't you say curse words, yeah

I agree. Cursing loses it's effect when grossly overdone. I'm no prude, I work in a male dominated field and I sometimes do it. When a movie has all the cuss words dubbed out it's funny as hel--eck. South Park did an episode where they said the "S" word 163 times. It was brilliant, because the message was cursing creates a curse when you overdo it. One of the things I admired about M.A.S.H. was that Colonel Potter gave the "impression" of salty language without actually cussing. This to me takes far more writing skill and articulation. I think you can "Keep it real" without the crude.

Right you are Rick about Potter and articulate colorful metaphore. By the way Aussie, How's your bum for warts? Nicely done. I gave you some frickin' fives, matey.

Thanks guys. I was worried this one wouldn't rate that well because it was a bit shorter than my usual stuff. Flamin' blasted short bloody lyrics.

DTKOS, so can't vote. I was wondering what dirty word ABD stood for for a while, until I read your name and smacked my forehead.
