| Original Song Title: | "Vahevala" |

| Parody Song Title: | "Parabolas" |
| Parody Written by: | Alvin Rhodes |
i'm thinking about when i was a scholar
spent my time in geometry
interest strayed doing constant equations
it certainly seemed a bore
but one thing worth waiting for
the thing that would save my soul
my thing as a scholar ?
parabolas...curved and tailored
parabolas...curved to tail away
parabolas...curved and tailored
parabolas...curved to tail away
both ends leaving
both ends gone
spreading out, my cone upon
i'm thinking about those conical figures
plane intersected...parallel
just two legs, but as a structure, no failure
the arch just seems to flow
as geometrics go
i'll be singing about this curve
parabolas...curved and tailored
parabolas...curved to tail away
parabolas...curved and tailored
parabolas...curved to tail away
both ends leaving
both ends gone
spreading out, my cone upon
every night i'd be making
this figure so shapely
i think that they bend so enchanting and dear
there such fun lines...i rush to embrace
cause a conical shape is more fun than a sphere
parabolas...curved and tailored
parabolas...curved to tail away
parabolas...curved and tailored
parabolas...curved to tail away
both ends leaving
both ends gone
spreading out, my cone upon
spent my time in geometry

The area under your creative curve approches infinity (or at least 555!)
DKTOS but your pacing is a parabol-y a peerless paragon of perfection and this scanned well as a poem. First time I've read anything that makes math sound sexy.
DKTOS either, but I know your pacing is always spot on. Parabolas sound like something I Pip and I would write about, but they probably wouldn't be utilized quite in the same...er...way... ;-)
thanks TJC PMS and merry
Same here Alvin, DKTOS. I laughed at this though, and the title got me in :) Then I laughed at Merry's comments, as they were virtually the thoughts that I had, that's kinda scary !
