Song Parodies -> The Enron Connection
| Original Song Title: | "The Rainbow Connection" |

| Parody Song Title: | "The Enron Connection" |
| Parody Written by: | Jonathan C. |
The woes of Enron as sung by disguntled ex-employees and stockholders.
Why were there so many problems with Enron,
And why did the profits slide?
Enron had visions, now only confusion.
The bosses cut loose their ties.
We bought their stocks and were forced to believe them.
We all got kicked in the tush.
But someday we'll find them, the Enron connection:
The liars, the deceivers, and Bush.
Who said that every wish would be heard and answered?
Try telling ol' Kenneth Lay.
Enron was out of bucks, thanks to accountants
Who knew that the public would pay.
What's so incredible is how we were gullible.
Hey, we even listened to Rush.
Someday they'll get it, the Enron connection:
The liars, the deceivers, and Bush
Enron's now far in the red.
We knew that the end was so tragic....
Now we are destitute. And now we hear voices,
That say Enron was a bust.
This is the sad sound of Dow-Jones investors
Duped by the blind Enron trust.
I've heard the news way too much to ignore it.
That's why I am making this push.
Let's all forget them, the Enron connection:
The liars, the deceivers, and Bush.
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Nooooo!
And why did the profits slide?
Enron had visions, now only confusion.
The bosses cut loose their ties.
We bought their stocks and were forced to believe them.
We all got kicked in the tush.
But someday we'll find them, the Enron connection:

Na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na
Nooooo!
Note: This is not a indictment of our current President, George W. Bush, Rush Limbaugh, former Enron CEO Kenneth Lay, or accountants in general.
