Enron had visions, now only confusion.
The bosses cut loose their ties.
We bought their stocks and were forced to believe them.
We all got kicked in the tush.

Who knew that the public would pay.
What's so incredible is how we were gullible.
Hey, we even listened to Rush.

Enron's now far in the red.
We knew that the end was so tragic....

Now we are destitute. And now we hear voices,
That say Enron was a bust.
This is the sad sound of Dow-Jones investors
Duped by the blind Enron trust.
