What font/control char did you use that put squares all over your parody?
I'm getting a lowercase greek beta.
I believe he intended it to be an apostrophe, judging from its position in words.
Mac - don't know original song but saw comments on "squares". I really think those detract from your work by confusing readers. Up to you, however. Thanks.
Squares, Greek... ??? I wrote this on Microsoft Word in "Times New Roman" font, and it looks perfectly normal to me... maybe some Japanese characters are somehow getting mixed in when I upload it. Sometimes that happens when I am surfing the web on this computer. If so, then your computer might see them as jibberish... sigh.
Mac - Try copying your next parody into Notepad and then transferring it to the site that way. Just make sure there are some on Phil Alenander's 'postrophies in there and I'll check it out from here. You just have some kind of bad ASCII blend going or you just have a henna gaijin PC. LOL

LOL... my henna gaijin computer reads that normally, Guy. I live in Shizuoka by the way.
Mac - Is that a ways across the bay from Shimoda south of Tokyo? I got the sunburn of my life at Shimoda once. I fell asleep on the beach, had worked an evening shift and left after midnight, drove all night, then around noon I crashed. Thing was there were all sorts of natural rock formations some of which were big enough to park some large trucks in. If only I'd had the sense to crash in there in the shade. Etai... I got the nickname Yama Zaru for a while after that.
Guy, I actually live on the north end of Izu Peninsula, maybe 40 km from Shimoda, which is on the southern tip.
