Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Larry Not-my-favorite-one
Curly Beat-on-you-for-fun
Hey you drooling knuckleheads
Don't throw pies at Moe

Once I woke up with a soiten conclusion
I should give my friends a comic contusion
Grabbed their noses with the pliers
Poke right to the eye

Though you're innocent I still wanna smack ya
Hey you morons help me try out this hacksaw
I hear the noises when you're scheming
I hear your pea brain

Larry Not-my-favorite-one
Curly Beat-on-you-for-fun
Hey you drooling knuckleheads
Don't throw pies at Moe

Moiderizin ya cuz you broke the bunkbed
Gonna take a monkey wrench to your lunk head
And when I say "Oh, you're a wise guy"
It surely means that I'm not Moe

On a stormy sea you're splashed through the porthole
Your intelligence is always a quart low
I'd knock your brains out if you had some
You resemble that remark

Larry Not-my-favorite-one
Curly Beat-on-you-for-fun
Hey you drooling knuckleheads
Don't throw pies at Moe

Curly's gone
Now it's time for some slappin'
Curly's gone
Try to think; nothin' happens
Now your life's no longer Shemp-free
Curly Joe is waiting too

I really hate the Three Stooges, but this was funny and well done. Perfectly paced! Very clever - and I quite liked how you threw in 'soiten'. :-D

Maybe someone should gather Albert Finney, Michael Caine and Patrick Stewart. You know, the Three Scrooges. (Mr. Magoo need not apply, and rest in peace, Alistair Sim.)

Very funny tune, Claude. (And Michael, you forgot Bill Murray. And also rest in piece George C. Scott and Reginald Owen, the original movie Scrooge.)

Thank you for the comments. For the record, I'm not a big Stooges fan either.

Oh man, that's funny. You blended the original with stooge-mania "poifectly" ! Nyuk, nyuk! (And an aside to Michael Pacholek: "Three Scrooges?" No wonder you write parodies - lol!!!) Nice Job, Claude!

Damn! I knew I forgot someone! George C. He was incredible in the role. I purposely didn't choose Bill Murray, because his role was re-contexted to a contemporary setting...maybe I can get another chance, a la "Groundhog Day." Now that I think about it, has anybody here written a parody based on that film? I'd like to see it.

Awesome. I AM a fan of the Stooges (I own the complete collection on DVD), and this was perfect. If there were an actual audio version of this parody, I would probably listen to that instead of the original opening, as much I liked it when I was a kid (re-runs). I really like Larry, and if you think about it (you don't have to), without him it wouldn't be the same. He's like the unsuccessful moderator between Moe and Curly (or Shemp, or Joe Besser [the childish one], or the last..no, forget about Joe DeRita *shiver*). Then Larry would get kicked around for his troubles. Sorry you're not a fan, but I still respect your parody skills. Whoo-whoo! (I wanted to use Nyuk! Nyuk!, but it Paul got to it first - 14 years ago?!)
