This was clever, AFW, am I voting for him or you?! Sure loved that guy! Good job on this very sentimental piece. Fav line: "Placed you on the bill to make the angels laugh". Not 'religious' per se, I nevertheless say "Amen, brother!"
I agree with this wholehearted sentiment. Knowing your history with doing tributes I was waiting for his because Leslie without a doubt deserves it.
Thanks, Rod and Matthias...yes, he had unforgettable moments and priceless scenes as a comedic actor. Many of his recent or younger fans may not even know of his early straight roles, in such films as, "Tammy And The Bachelor" , opposite Debbie Reynolds from 1957. His move to comedy demonstrated perfect timing. I just can't imagine him playing Lt. Frank Drebin in the Naked Gun series, as a younger man.
