then some burgundy comes into play
i upend it till through

if life...seems too crazed...i'll feel better
disturbed ?...drink like fishies might do
afraid...or dismayed ?
then my elbow, i'll bend
and friend...it will mend things like new

but some never seem...to need to gulp wine
they face the things...they have to do
so sublimely
i've been around enough to know
that when i'm glum...the stuff will flow
inside me

its not...just a crutch..its delicious
i drink...when i'm sad...or i'm blue
and though i have plenty
my rack, i will empty
