I'm not sure how to classify this -- rearranged "Candyman" lyrics (more or less) with "Handyman" music. Oh hell... I'm just playing with your heads!
Who takes the sunrise
Makes choc'late miracles, each size
He does it, Candy Handyman
Watch him take rainbows, wraps them up in sky
Soaked in the sun, groovy lemon pie
All mixed up with love, the world tastes good - He's the man
And the Candyman makes everything
Less filling and taste great, too
You'll eat all the dishes, oh what a treat
Childhood wishes come true
He takes tomorrow, dipped in a dream
He separates the sorrow, collects cream
He mixes with love, oh that Candy Handyman
Yum yum, yum yum, yum yum, yummmm, yummmm
Oooh, oooh, ahhh
Yum yum, yum yum, yum yum, yummmm, yummmm
Oooh, oooh, ahhh
We'll come running to eat
Went to the candy store, where I was..
Getting the biggest processed sugar buzz
I tried all the treats from the Candy Handyman
Yum yum, yum yum, yum yum -- oh no!
Now I'm sick...
Makes choc'late miracles, each size
He does it, Candy Handyman
Watch him take rainbows, wraps them up in sky
Soaked in the sun, groovy lemon pie
All mixed up with love, the world tastes good - He's the man
And the Candyman makes everything
Less filling and taste great, too
You'll eat all the dishes, oh what a treat
Childhood wishes come true
He takes tomorrow, dipped in a dream
He separates the sorrow, collects cream
He mixes with love, oh that Candy Handyman
Yum yum, yum yum, yum yum, yummmm, yummmm
Oooh, oooh, ahhh
Yum yum, yum yum, yum yum, yummmm, yummmm
Oooh, oooh, ahhh
We'll come running to eat
Went to the candy store, where I was..
Getting the biggest processed sugar buzz
I tried all the treats from the Candy Handyman
Yum yum, yum yum, yum yum -- oh no!
Now I'm sick...

555, brilliant work, Mari D! I love it! An interlyrically combined meta-parody that reminds me of my parody "A Lamer Stupid Rhyme" where I used "A Whiter Shade Of Pale" to lament the difficulty of parodying Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody".
Thanks, Johnny! I like yours, too. Rick had warned me that it would probably be perceived as too obscure or something, but what the hell.
Ha! This is great! I'm glad Rick mentioned this in his comment on my 'Over The Rainbow/Under the Boardwalk' effort. Didn't realize this kind of thing had already been done. This is much truer to form than my own effort, which cheats and incorporates elements from 'The Wizard of Oz' that are not actually found in the original lyrics to 'Over the Rainbow'. There should be more of this kind of stuff on this site.
Mari D - Great job - 5's. What with the site being a bit hard to access lately and some stuff going on with me I haven't been around too much the last couple weeks or so.
