I have three young boys
and they never liked doing chores
Every one of my sons
just ignores
when I ask them to put effort
into discipline and toil
From any type of hard work
They recoil

In their younger days
They all would
tow the line
Each of the wee ones
took good care
to mind
But they've grown up
into young men
who have better things to do
than pitch in
as part of a work crew

"Use your brawn
Get yourselves out to the lawn
Cause the leaves have fallen
and need to be raked
Did I hear you say
You couldn't do this job today?
Seems that this excuse is
just half baked"

"Mow the lawn
Don't you stare at me and yawn
If you don't get moving
You will surely find
You won't get to play
and the GameCube goes away
And you'll find
that your Gameboys become mine"
