Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Was too obvious... someone had to do it
Hey Brett, you shoulda stayed retired
The spotlight sure was dimming
Shoulda left while flying higher
You really blew it bad this time
Went for the green
Bet you’ll crash down real hard in
The New York scene

Say, you Jets fans, can you picture Brett
Throwing his passes to your crappy Jets
Gonna be weird and not wonderful
Oh Brett’s now in the AFC
He’s got a tired arm, you know he’s lost his charm
And he’ll be playin’ on a lousy team
Ohhh
B-B-B-Brett Favre and the Jets

Hey Jets, your stock goes up in Vegas
I guess you’ve been blinded
But Brett must think he’s ageless
Will he survive, with your dismal O-line
He’d stand a better chance out in the streets
To find he’s wrong and outta time

Say, you Jets fans, can you picture Brett
Throwing his passes to your crappy Jets
Gonna be weird and not wonderful
Like Namath on the Rams once again
Can he still take a hit, you know he’ll stink like shit
I’ll watch the lowlights on ESPN
Ohhh
B-B-B-Brett Favre and the Jets

IF Brett truly WAS a wash-up, this would be funny. Obviously the writer doesn't know Brett still ROCKS and it's the Packer brass who are the fricking idiots. I'd like to see a song about them. Writer clearly has a knack for this.

Brett IS still great, and Ted is an idiot, but this song rocks!

Thanks everyone! can anyone tell me how this song is getting SO MANY hits? Does someone have it linked elsewhere? It's got more hits than really good parodies that have been up for years. Not trying to wish it away by any means. But I'm staggered and flattered (and curious)

What rock are you under. Brett is and always will be big news. Anyone who slams him will get people looking at it wondering what kind of idiot would do something so stupid!!
