Parody Song Title:

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

this is a plea from the new Tory Leader D Cameron to Rupert Murdoch for his support...
What have I got to do to make you back me
What have I got to do to make you care
If I don't have you they're bound to sack me
You know I'll hardly last a year

What do I do to make you want me
What have I got to do to be heard
I remember the day it'll always haunt me
when Tony clinched that deal ..gave you his word

It's sad, so sad
It's a sad, sad situation
And it's getting more and more absurd
It's sad, so sad
Why can't we talk it over
Oh it seems to me
That we can make a deal you have my word

Repeat chorus

What have I got to do to make you want me
What have I got to do to make you care
I remember the day it'll always haunt me

What have I got to do
What have I got to do
oh we can make a deal you have my word

You could have made the same point with another EJ song, "Don't Let the Sun support Tony." But I like the way you match the melancholy theme of this OS with the melancholy situation of the Tories if the Sun endorses Blair.

I'm not really privy to the content of the parody. I don't know who Tony is. But, in my opinion, you use too many of the original words in your parody. That's just lazy.
