Song Parodies -> "(No More) Bromance"

Original Song Title:

"Last Dance"

Original Performer:

Donna Summer

Parody Song Title:

"(No More) Bromance"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

Trump and Cruz end cozy relationship!
Bromance with Ted
Now it's attack ads
And a caucus fight
So sloppy, and costly
Trump scolding, not withholding
'Cause when he's bad
He's so, so bad

[And we expect that]

So let's end the bromance
Go on the offense
Let's end the bromance and fight!

Who's more Right of Right?

So let's end the bromance
Go on the offense
Let's end the bromance and fight!

Iowa in sight!

Oh-yes, Trump's haughty
He's snotty, and naughty, but
Ted's needy and preachy
They're both bad
They're so, so bad

So, friendship ending, gloves off stance
No conflict mending. RMs? Not a chance!
Two weeks away, gotta get things right

Trump's delusional!
Ted's not quite right!

I'm guessing RM = Running Mates - am I right?

Kudos for a new angle to parodying politics - bromance for a (potential) POTUS/VP team is a new one methinks.

Yes, Peter and thanks. Trump and Cruz both joked about the RM option, but that's gone. I think Trump floated the idea of a female RM with the Gov of SC. But with Trump who can really know? Rubio would make the best RM of all candidates IMHO.

The Democrats are united in their program. Hillary or Bernie will stick to the well-defined course. Interchangeable parts. The Republicans will fight over their minor differences until one loser emerges, a lesser-of-two-evils compromise. Trump needs to lay off the personal attacks and start defining a vision of an America people of all parties would vote for. I, for one, am tired of simply voting against.

Just when it seems Bernie will strike a serious blow against Hillary on an issue, he shifts gears and back to Campaign Finance Reform! So many lost opportunities to attack. His kindness and positive campaign might cost him the edge he needs to get past Clinton.

All politicians seem to be united against the American people. The best we can expect from them is a brief spasm of entertaining brawls for the next 10 months. A bit of a high-brow knock of of the WWE or Jerry Springer.
