The Lyrics

For some time now, a parody meme called "If X Wrote 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald'" has been emanating throughout Amiright. Now, I am a HUGE progressive rock fan, so I decided to add my own twist called "If X Wrote (your progressive rock song here)." In this case, I am putting out my first parody of the Queen of Disco according to the plot of the Emerson, Lake and Palmer epic "Karn Evil 9." After all, Summer herself performed lengthy songs. This is my 94th parody.
Whirr, whirr...beep, beep... (repeat several times)

Morning, I heard a warning.
Withered, children shivered.

See them suffering; they've all been betrayed.
They've all prayed for survival at the end of the day
'Cos those robots might soon have them slain;
I must protect what remains.

Come on inside to the show!
You'll see great wonders--yes, we know--
Like bishops' heads, all in jars
And lots of other things, like bombs inside of cars.

Come in; this show never will end.
Hammers, leave them in the slammer.

Welcome back to this endless show,
Where in glass blades of grass do grow.
This show's the best in heaven or earth;
This is a dynamo.

The Gypsy Queen, what a scene:
She's headed for the grave guillotine;
And next upon the stand, Alex's Ragtime Band.

Must do something, I never could do nothing. (2x)

No computer stands in the way
'Cos blood alone can wipe out my pain.
We are guardians of a bright new dawn
Rejoice! glory is ours.

Whirr, whirr, beep, beep... (repeat several times)

Computer, you're no match for me.
Robot, I will take it right to thee.
But wait a minute...he's perfect; am I?
Though I think not, I still am ready to die.
Oh, android--
LOAD PROGRAMME; I AM YOU.

DANGER! STRANGER!

(Ad lib and fade)
More prog rock themes to come...
