The Lyrics

My newest tribute to AmIRight and it's artists, this is how the humour was when it first started, and now we have to get to the LMAO parodies.
A long, long time ago...
I can still remember how
That music used to make me smile.
And I knew if they crossed my path,
That I could make netsurfers laugh,
And maybe they'd be happy for a while.
But "Bad Magician" made me quiver,
With every spoof that I'd deliver,
Made fun of "Got the Life"...
Turned it into "Al Gore's Wife".
I can't remember if I cried
When I saw the votes online that night,
But something touched me deep inside,
The day the humour died.

Making parodies since yesterday,
But today it is time
And artists were making parodies all night,
Thinking this will be the song that will fly.
To the top hundred, it will fly

Did you write "Goodbye Clinton",
And does your first name sound like William,
If the website tells you so
Do you parody rock n roll,
Can humor save your mortal soul
Then you can teach me to make "Mrs. Reno"
Well I know that DarkJon is "Frozen"
And with Leo,it's true "No one Knows Him"
I laughed at that song "Xander-3-9 Dunn"
But I didn't laugh at that song "What's Fun?"
I was a lonely teenage borin' stud
With a glazed appearance and a pound of bud.
But I knew that I was out of luck
The day the humour died I started thinkin'...

Now for 3 years I've been on my own
Kate Moss gets phat, unlike Rolling Stones
But that's not how it used to be

When the brother made his first parody,
With some lyrics he borrowed from old Chucky,
In a voice that came from you and me

And while the board was breaking down
Chucky G. loaded some new stuff out.
The viruses were adjourned
The messageboard was returned
While Lenny Quites was typing out new songs,
Triple X did a parody about bongs,
And we made fun of the "Thong Song"
The start of AmIRight
We were thinkin'

"Helter Skelter" is unlike "Tongbashers"
The words flew out like a cow with leather
Everyone was high and tweaking fast
Maybe because of that strong grass
The artists made songs with pacing that's trash
With my brother on the websites without SpellCheck
Now the airtime fare was pure and true
While Kazaa Lite played an annoying tune
We all logged on to laugh
Oh, but we never got the chance
'Cause the artists tried to take the field,
The songs Junior refused to yield.
Do you recall what was revealed,
The day the humour died?
We started thinkin'

There we were all in one place
A parody website with lots of webspace
With no time left to start again
So come on Leb be nimble, Jon be quick
Mike Florio's on the top ten list,
'Cause writers are the website's only friend.

As I watched Len on the page
My hands were clenched in fists of rage
No artist born in heck
Could get that idiot a spell check.
And as songs climbed high onto the site
To light the glorious AmIRight
I saw Weird Al laughing with delight
The start of AmIRight.

I met a girl who sang the blues
And I asked her for some happy news
But she just smiled and didn't care
I went down to the messageboard,
Where I'd heard the humour months before
But the man there said the humour wouldn't fare
And on the site the artists screamed
The newbies cried and the posters dreamed
But not a post was spoken
The messageboards were broken
And the two men I comment on,
Is DarkJon64 and Willaim Tong,
They have their very own "Bong Song"s
Before the humour died
We were thinkin'

Well, you had some pacing problems. I sang along with the song because I am a nerd like that. It also used a lot of stuff from the actual song. 3/3/3

This is terrible.
