Very funny, but not exactly original. Back in 1962, the great Allan Sherman parodied "Down Buy the Riverside" with "Don't Buy the Liverwurst": "Oh yes, the corned beef is a must, the pickled herring you can trust, and the lox puts you in orbit, A-OK. But that big hunk of liverwurst has been there since October 1st, and today is the 23rd of May!" A lot of his stuff was topical, involving early-Sixties celebrities, but his food parodies are timeless: "Customers should see salami comin' through the rye."

Yeah, I hear you. I can't stand looking at moldy food or lumpy, curdled milk in the fridge. Guess what? There's this milk that I had in the fridge back in July 4, 2006 that I found today and it's so ugly. I was sick as hell, coughing and gagging. I definitely can relate to this song. Food in fridge since 4/4 is no good, but this song's all good! 5's!
