Song Parodies -> Twila's Album Blackout
| Original Song Title: | "1970s NBA on CBS Theme" |
| Original Performer: | CBS Sports |
| Parody Song Title: | "Twila's Album Blackout" |
| Parody Written by: | Edward Genereux |
Again, this is a request for Twila Paris to release her new album ("Small Sacrifice") to stores other than LifeWay. The OS was used by CBS Sports for its NBA coverage between 1973 and 1976.
Twila's playing games,
Which has really brought shame
To her and her CD.
I really fear the death of her reputation!
I stand before
My Northwestern Book Store
With bullets and grenades
'Cos my patience has almost come to an end!
Welcome to Blackoutville,
Which can be found in 26 states
Where living is otherwise great!
But there's one glitch:
The Twilites there, left in the cold,
Ask a single question now:
"Will I ever, ever get 'Small Sacrifice?'
Will I e'er get my own hands on 'Small Sacrifice?'
Will I get 'Small Sacrifice?'" (Repeat last line)
Which has really brought shame
To her and her CD.
I really fear the death of her reputation!
I stand before
My Northwestern Book Store
With bullets and grenades
'Cos my patience has almost come to an end!

I hope she ends the blackout soon!

TSB parodies the 2oth Century Fox theme. You do the NBA. What's next, the Intel Inside chime? (DKTOS, so no vote here, but I would say I 'd like to see more parodies that aren't about Christian pop singers)
