The Lyrics

"Boring as Tolkien" means that I'm snoring
"Elvish is spoken" means 'makes no sense'
"Good as the novel" means 'worth ignoring'
"Thematic deep-ness" Faerie pretense.

"I have the box set" ("I have no girlfriend")

A mini masterpiece! Reminds me of National Lampoon's Bored of the Rings, years ago.

Oh, now I wouldn't say that if I were you Michael. I have it on good authority that there can not be too many LotR parodies. Expect one from me very soon, possibly based on "One Tin Soldier"…Alright, where was I? Ah, yes, Lee, I have no idea about your original song. Your lyrics are really funny. I loved the part about "the boxed set". Really funny stuff.

Kim...how old are you? Sometimes I'm convinced that you're my age or older...and then other times you come across as quite young. I'm reminded to ask now because you don't know the OS...just wondering if you were around when it was in its prime...(but you know "One Tin Soldier")...call me stumped.

Arwen...Based on what I said in my post and what you just said in your post, I am going to say you are confusing what I said in my commentary. The latter part of my post was directed at the parody song based on "Morning Has Broken". That original song is not familiar to me. I should have added that is why I did not vote on the parody song. Now, if you mean something different, then I suggest we take this to the main message board where we can discuss this better, and not disturb this review section any more than it has been.

Thanks to all for being so kind to my short little ditty. Apologies to Arwen and the 'true believers' (bass turds).

Kim...I read your post right. My question was based on the fact that you don't know "Morning Has Broken."
