Mac, you bring up an important issue. Illegal immigration is a problem, but I'm not sure that I agree with your primary implication. Is it corporate greed to try to provide affordable products to consumers? Is it corporate greed to try to provide a small return on investment to shareholders (which includes most of the country in one form or another)? I really don't think so, but even if it is, I still take corporate greed over political over-regulation, waste and inefficiency.
Well John, I'm not a pinko, lefty, "corporations are evil" type. But on the issue of immigration, I think it is clear that the interests of business owners conflict with those of ordinary folks. Businesses just want the lowest priced labor they can find. They don't care how this effects workers, or how mass immigration effects taxpayers, and society as a whole.
