Parody Song Title:

"Morgan O'Freeman"

Parody Written by:

Jim Rotondo

There's something about that voice, and he needed to be Irish for this tune.
I turned on the TV and nothin’ was on
9,000 channels, yet all crap today.
I then heard a voice, a familiar one
Of a black Irishman’s vocal bouquet.

He’s Morgan O’Freeman, when I hear that old voice I hear him say (Morgan O’Freeman)
I begin listening (Morgan O’Freeman)
till he drives Miss Daisy away
I see him drivin’ Miss Daisy away.

So many voices have come and gone
Like James Earl Jones and others who rank.
They narrate films and carry on
But none like this guy from Shawshank.

He’s Morgan O’Freeman, when I hear that old voice I hear him say (Morgan O’Freeman)
I begin listening (Morgan O’Freeman)
till he drives Miss Daisy away
I see him drivin’ Miss Daisy away.

From Bruce Almighty to Jack’s Bucket List
Million Dollar Baby brought home the gold.
There are many more films I’m sure I missed
But when he’s on the phone, don’t put him on hold
Don’t put him on hold, that voice of gold.

He’s Morgan O’Freeman, when I hear that old voice I hear him say (Morgan O’Freeman)
I begin listening (Morgan O’Freeman)
till he drives Miss Daisy away
I see him drivin’ Miss Daisy away.
