The Lyrics

Best version of original song is 1975 live in London, the version I've done these alternative lyrics to
No, woman, no pie
No, woman, no pie
No, woman, no pie
No, woman, no pie

Said, said, said I remember when we used to sit
Examination room, my old school
Having, having revised my mathematics
Hoping for, hoping for a good grade to leave with

"You'll need this stuff, one day you may just"
Teacher, she say
I'll come full circle, if I don't get the right
varieties, I say

No, woman, no pi
No, woman, no pi
'Ere, Mrs teacher, that won't feed me
No, woman, no pi

Said, said, said, I remember when we used to sit
In a little restaurant in our town
Cos that restaurant could set the ambience, just by some
Log wood burnin' through the night

And they would cook steak & kidney
Of which I'll share with you
With chips, & a small side salad
Can you pass the sweet menu?
(Never did need her maths)

Trousers are gettin' far too tight
Trousers are gettin' far too tight
Trousers are gettin' far too tight
Trousers are gettin' far too tight
Trousers are gettin' far too tight
Trousers are gettin' far too tight
Trousers are gettin' far too tight
Trousers are gettin' far too tight

Don't want no more pie
(No, no woman) no woman, no pie
Woman, Mrs teacher, maths ain't fed me
No woman, no pie

I remember when we used to sit
In a little restaurant in our town
Cos that restaurant could set the ambience, just by some
Log wood burnin' through the night

And they would cook Bramley apple
Of which I'll share with you
Ice cream & a cinnamon pinch
Oh, I've got to use their room
But while I'm gone

Don't want no more pie
No woman, no pie
Oh my Mrs teacher, your maths ain't fed me
No woman, no pie

(Mrs teacher, maths ain't fed me
No, woman, no pie
Mrs teacher, maths ain't fed me
No woman, no pie)

So what is this about -- An Anglo American food staple or the formula for determining the circumference of a circle if given its radius and/or diameter. Its like there's two different meanings here!!!!
