The Lyrics

I'm blankin on who did the original, all I can think of is the "ooga chaka" version.
Hooked up with this woman I met at the gym
Went back to her place to let the fun begin

Kissed her gently, right upon her lips
Then she broke out all her chains and whips
I........ got hung from the ceiling
My arms have no feeling
I'm in such agony

Candles dripping hot wax all over my skin
How can she get off on such a wierd demented sin
I'll tolerate the hand cuffs, the gag was not so bad
But those chains were the worst thing I ever had

Both my arms held up by wooden beams
All the neighbors hear my tortured screams
I........ got hung from the ceiling
My arms have no feeling
I'm in such agony

On the treadmill, she had angel eyes
But that dungeon was a big suprise
I........ got hung from the ceiling
My arms have no feeling
I'm in such agony

I'm hung from the ceiling, my arms have no feeling
I'm in such agony

This parody hurts so good. The original was by B.J.Thomas.

You're right, JD, but Blue Swede recorded it in the mid-70s as well, in case you didn't know. (Even I know that and I wasn't born yet.)

B.J. Thomas, that's right. Thanks JD

Mr. X - I remember vividly the "Non-B.J. Thomas" "HOOGA-CHUCKA" version - and I like that HOOGA-CHUCKA version a lot - it's hilarious, kind of a parody of B.J.'s original.

Hey TGK, just to let you know, that's my vote of 5-5-5 there .... looks like so far I'm the only reader who's voted. Great parody!

I assume BJ Thomas's version doesn't use "HOOGA CHUCKA"; I've never heard it before. But I have heard the Blue Swede version, which this parody is based on.

Haven't heard the BJ version either...say, that reminds me--I once read some wacko author claim they were really singing "who got sucked off". Anyway, bring out the gimp; nice job.

Worth all fives, but I had to dock you one point for doing the Blue Swede version instead of the Billy Joe Thomas version.

Gee, I didn't think that we could write about BJs anymore! The BJ THOMAS version did not use "ooga chaka"; it was just a normal 60s pop song. Very clever parody, by the way.

What's the diffrence between the two...besides the chant?

Ah! A parody I can really sink my teeth into... ;-)
