The Lyrics
The original song scans poorly and does not really rhyme well. Given it was based on a hallucination involving 'fairies' wearing boots, one cannot be too critical of the writer. Just the same, I'm glad I never laid eyes upon the boots depicted below. The portions in () are whispered in the background.
