The Lyrics

A tribute to Aunt Bea from The Andy Griffith Show
She can clean the floor tile, she can cook some French fries
She can fatten your waist with her blueberry pies
And she only reveals what she wants to Andy
Her manners are mild, oh your such a good woman Aunt Bea
She can knit you some gloves, she can bake cakes to please you
She will dress you up warm so the weather won't freeze you
And she'll pack a nice school lunch for little Opie
Gives him nice lean roast beef, oh your such a good woman Aunt Bea
Oh, she takes care of the house, she cooks all of the meals
She's so caring and kind
Oh, she does all the laundry then she sits on the porch
And lets Andy unwind
And she'll wash all the dishes when you are done eating
And she'll stick on a bandage if your finger's bleeding
And she darns Opie's socks while he climbs up a tree
Make some tea for yourself cause your such a good woman Aunt Bea
Oh, she takes care of the house, she cooks all of the meals
She's so caring and kind
Oh, she does all the laundry then she sits on the porch
And lets Andy unwind
She is always so kind and she is never cruel
The leftovers she freezes, she knits things with wool
And she is well respected, she's so neighborly
And she'll make a nice stew with the carrots she grew
Oh your such a good woman Aunt Bea

Ah! You're giving us such a case of nostalgia, I'm feeling farklempt - parody amongst yourselves - I'll give you a topic - if not "Rural Free Delivery", then what could the "RFD" in "Mayberry RFD" stand for? - discuss!

Silly, good job!
Johnny, I thought RFD was the abbreviation of "River Front District" either that or "Run For the Door"
