I couldn't vote because I'm not familiar with the topic choice. I do like the OS though, and assuming I am pronouncing his name right, I believe your pacing was pretty solid. One thing I'd like to suggest is switching up the choruses a bit, think of it the way it was explained to me--it's like repeating the same joke each time you use it, instead the choruses can be an opportunity to squeeze in more humor (or in this case more tribute) Welcome to the site!

Below Average Dave- Thanks for your suggestion. Now that I think about it, I really wished that I would have switched the choruses in my parody, as well as some minor changes. I'm pretty good with pacing, though. It's easy for me. I was also hoping to attract some teenage girls with this parody. So far I submitted 7 parodies in this site. Yeah, I used to watch Devon in this Nickelodeon show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide now I watch it on The N network. BTW, I'm your biggest fan! I'm pretty much of a Devon fan myself. I've been surfing through his websites and I noticed lots of girls screaming "I love you, Devon!"; "Marry me, Devon!", it just came to me. So I decided to write a song about it. Now he's working towards his music career and I can't wait for his CD to come out. I'll definitely buy it once it's released.
I love this song that you wrote! That song should have been parodied years ago when Devon was big in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide because I used to watch that show!!! I couldn't stop reading your parody. Devon is such a hottie who stole my heart! His sis has the same name as mine and people mistook me for her. Thanks, DJ! :) I do watch Ned's Declassified in Nickelodeon and The N network! Devon Werkheiser is hot, all the girls love him. On my MySpace page, I got a lot of Devon fan sites in my Friend space. He's also a singer, too. His CD's supposed to come out this year, but for some reason, they keep delaying it. I heard this song "Superhero" by Devon and he sang a bunch of other songs as well. You can also watch and listen to "Barry Manilow's Copacabana" and Devon's music on YouTube.

Sorry I wasn't clear, but no, he actually doesn't have an album yet. I keep hearing that he's still working on it, but no one's sure when it will be released. But you could also listen to his music on Devon Werkheiser Music on MySpace, or go on YouTube.

Not bad. I had no idea who this fella was before I read this parody now I know. I probably would have liked this more if I was a fan of his but I've done a few fan pieces as well "Viva La Barney Stinson" for example so I don't blame you for writing it. I just wish I could have got more into it.

And yes, there were problems with his album being unreleased plus his songs are in iTunes now such as "If Eyes Could Speak". I parodied Devon Werkheiser's songs before on this site also. I also like Devon from "The Prankster", "The First Time" and "Three Rivers" where he was guest star. Thanks for the survival guides and speaking of which, I'll need a survival guide to stand in this contest as well as writing a better parody.

(Ages) My thoughts before reading this: friggin' who? My thoughts after: so he's a guy I don't know who's on these shows I haven't seen on a channel I don't get...but damnit Copacabana is awesome! So yeah, don't have much to say here. Not one of your best works, IMO. Pacing was spot on, but the topic flew straight over my head. Good song, I'm not familiar with Mr. Devon, but the song was catchy (good OS choice) and flowed well.
Ages...not familiar with the actor or the shows mentioned, but I do love a good Copacabana parody. :) A couple of internal rhyming things that tripped me up, but overall, nice work here!
