| Original Song Title: | "You Needed Me" |
| Original Performer: | Anne Murray |
| Parody Song Title: | "You're Leaving Me" |
| Parody Written by: | Double E |
You said you'd call me on the phone
You never did; I should have known
But I believed the lies you fed to me
You said that you would always be with me
But now you're leaving me
You caused me pain and so I tried to hide
But you've hurt me so very deep inside
You've left me here when I need you the most
It's here that I can see the way you've treated me
You're leaving me, you're leaving me
And I can't believe you're gone but now I know you're wrong
In treating me the way you have
And I'm glad that you are gone; I truly am no fool
'Cause I finally see you for just who you are
The night we met I never knew
That I would be here without you
You took my heart and broke it silently
I never thought that you were through with me
I thought you were my friend
You caused me pain and so I tried to hide
But you've hurt me so very deep inside
You've left me here when I need you the most
It's here that I can see the way you've treated me
You're leaving me, you're leaving me
You're leaving me, you're leaving me
You never did; I should have known

I'm just wondering. What do you people feel is wrong with my pacine? All the syllables match up perfectly to the original, I have both the sheet music and the MP3 file to prove it... I respect your opinions, and maybe if I know what I'm doing wrong, I can fix it... Thanks.
awesome as always emerson
Your pacing is fine! People just don't realize true talent when they see it!
Looking over this I wondered... how did you know exactly how to write such a deep Heartbroken parody? It's amazing!
