I spent a couple summers working in the factory where they made Hydrox, the big rival to Oreo. Never could decide which one I liked more. Last Sunday on CBS I learned that Hydrox actually came first, but that the name sounded more like a brand for laundry bleach. I think Hydrox is gone, so it appears Oreo won the market competition.
