I originally posted this on the late, lamented online service GEnie's Science Fiction and Fantasy RoundTable. At the time, Babylon 5 took up two whole CATegories (BBS sections). It had started with a single TOPic (thread within a CATegory). This was written during and about the second season of "Babylon 5."

A tale of a new ser-ies,
That start-ed from Joe S.'s mind
Now has two CATe-go-ries!
I-van-o-va runs B-5 so well.
It's Cap-tain, brave and true.
It went op-er-a-tion-al one day
For a five sea-son tour!

The Shad-ows start-ed get-ting tough,
The Gal-ax-y was tossed!
If not for the cour-age of Sin-clair "The One,"
All sen-tients would be lost!

The ser-ies is now in Sea-son Two,
It's the best, and that's no jive!
With Gari-bal-di,
The Cap-tain, too.
