"Southbury Training School"

Parody Written by:

Again, this song is not meant to be funny it is meant to be SERIOUS!!!!!!!! According to a documentary on Channel 13, this "school" should have shut down a long time ago.
There is a place in Southbury,
It's called a Training School.
It is meant to help the disabled,
But it is quite cruel!

The staff there is negligent,
The state looks the other way.
The residents sit in their own crap,
All the live long day.

There was a girl who lived there,
Could not chew her own food.
She wound up choking to death,
And the staff there did not care.

The place you see is run by the state,
Refused to give them better care.
But look at these poor residents,
There condition cannot wait.

Listen up you parents,
Do not do what those parents did!
Do not send your children there,
To be dead residents!
Search the web if you do not believe me!

Sir, ^ I believe that you are rightit was Eric Burdin & the Animals; but it was so long ago, that they now consider it 'traditional' ???

No, I think "traditional" songs were written a long time ago; they include children's songs, christmas songs, and things that have melodies dating back at least a century or more. Not this one, though.
