The Lyrics

This is a light hearted look at the Martha Stewart Trial Verdict. My prediction is she will probably be sentanced to six months jail time if any. But what do I know? I may have to change the lyrics if I'm wrong.
I read in the national papers
What insider tradings are
They're conning folks by selling shares
To victims near and far
They say that Martha Stewart
Dumped shares that were'nt so hot
But six months is the only thing she got....

Still, Martha's Six months
She'll serve about half if any
It's better than Martha laughing
It's better than none
Dumped her ImClone shares
She was well aware
'Bout the FDA
Now she's locked away

We know that...
Martha's Six Months
Only means Martha's one chance
Of getting off, went in one glance
Just thinking she'd won
Now this case is through
It's a Good Thing too
No surprise, Martha's Six Months will
Probably turn into one.

A long time ago, when I was very young, I saw this musical on Broadway. My memory of the lyrics for this song are a littel fuzzy, but I think you did a good job with them.
