Original Performer:

The Rolling Stones

Parody Song Title:

"Ain't it Black?"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Tribute to Jack.
I see a movie and I wonder ain’t it Black?
This “School of Rock” actor whose first name we call Jack.
From Shallow Hal to a role in High Fidelity,
Then set a fire while stoned in “Orange County”.

I watched “Be Kind Rewind” and liked the clever plot,
Then in “Tropic Thunder” with Stiller’s jungle rot.
This bearded wonder still gets roles with many stars,
5 houses, wife, 2 kids and you should see his cars.

I see Tenacious D and wonder ain’t it Black?
Who plays guitar and sings, but not with Roberta Flack.
They played on VH1’s nice tribute to The Who,
Squeeze Box did far outweigh the Fighters of the Foo.

When I grow up you know I want to be like Jack,
Who’s cool and hip and funny unlike Robert Stack.
This former comic-turned-musician breaks all the rules
With triple income makes the rest of us look like fools.

I see a movie and I wonder ain’t it Black?
Each time I rent a film I can’t believe it’s Jack.
No other moron on the planet acts so well,
Plays slobs and chumps and just portrays them really swell.
Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm….

I wanna see it acted, by Jack Black
Black is bright, Black’s my pal,
I wanna see more Schools of Rock
and a sequel to Shallow Hal,
I wonderin’ ain’t it, ain’t it, ain’t it, played by Black?
Yeah!

Well done. Enjoyed High Fidelity and a bunch of his other stuff. School of Rock was a bit too much Black for me, but I am always impressed by Tenacious D. Good tribute

Thank you all Gents, geez, there goes my 26-parody streak of straight 5's, oh no! The video will be posted tomorrow, the pacing will speak for itself...oh woe to me and Brad Lidge, streaks gone kaput!

great tribute to an underrated JB! Thanks, Jim! Look up the song "Push" by DIO on You Tube...Jack is in the beginning of the song playing an acoustic on the street.
