| Parody Song Title: | "David Dis the Silly Songs" |
| Parody Written by: | 2Eagle |
A certain popular newspaper columnist did a survey of what were the worst songs and the whole thing snowballed. It was his version of the Stupid Olympics. The song I'm parodying is also rather silly and doesn't make much sense.
David, dis the silly songs - sock it to ya -
Twenty thousand can't be wrong - sock it to ya.
Each decade has come and gone - get a clue. ya -
With sublime and stupid songs - get a clue, ya.
The Gold Barf Bag, "MacArthur Park "- an enigma -
The whole thing melts in the dark - we don't dig ya.
The Silver Barf Bag for "Yummy, Yummy "- gave us nausea -
It gave us a sour tummy - cutsey poo, ah.
The Bronze Barf Bag for "Having My Baby" - it's so rank, a -
It's no way to show you love me, Mr. Anka.
There were countless runners up - there were myrads -
Lots of "turkeys" to '"carve up" - made us all mad.
Keep on dissin' silly songs - sock it to ya -
Time keeps moving more along - sock it to ya.
Who knows what the future brings - have a field day -
Rap renditions of old things - comin' your way.
