The Lyrics

My inspiration for this parody comes from the book "The One Minute Maniac", a parody of "The One Minute Manager". In "The One Minute Maniac", there is a cartoon of a smiling person who is extending their hand and saying "Pleased to meet you, what's in it for me?" The title of that cartoon is "TURBO NETWORKING". Here's where you can find "The One Minute Maniac": Click here for "The One Minute Maniac"
Turbo
Networking
Lightning-fast and it's free

Turbo
Networking
Skip every pleasantry

Turbo
Networking
For your prosperity

Turbo
Networking
It's all me me me me

You're walking down the street
Finding the right eyes to meet
Do you think you see a guy
Who's worth a three-second glad-hand try?

Turbo
Networking
Try it now and you'll see

Turbo
Networking
It's as quick as can be

Turbo
Networking
Upward mobility

Turbo
Networking
It's all me me me me

Just hold your hand out wide
Like a mannequin of pride
Then smile and show a little teeth and tongue
That'll prove you're brave, clean, doubtless, strong!

(...bwowowowow...bwowowowow...)

"Pleased to meet you, yes, indeed...now please tell me what's in it for me?"

If you hope to make them be your fool
If you hope good luck has dusted you, well,

Play on! Play on!
Play on! Play on!
Play on! Play on!

Play on!

...they want you...

Play on!

...they need you baby...

Play on!
Play on!
Play on!
Play on!

I only read 20% of this before I had to go to lunch. Pretty good parody JD. So based on the 20% I should only like vote 1s since that is like 20% of 5, right?

Clever how you've turned the original focus of love for another around to love of self.
