| Parody Song Title: | "I Have Catarrh, I Must Sleep" |
| Parody Written by: | Sweet Indigo |
When I was small, I was an occasional sufferer of catarrh. It always seemed to strike on the days when school was fun for everyone else. When at school, exciting things happened elsewhere whilst I struggled to concentrate. Snow is nice though, because it's fun and we actually got sent home when it fell.
In school they eat sweets, they have games they are playing
I've got catarrh and must sleep
I puked on the floor and at home I am staying
I've got catarrh and must sleep
I don't know why this awful timing, school's good when I'm away
Perhaps I'll die, death knells are chiming
They don't care I'm ill
I look at the sky and I notice it's snowing
I go to class and I sleep
This teacher's a bore and she just keeps on going
I go to class and I sleep
And though I try to hear what she told us
That snow holds my mind
Then they decide it's too cold for us
Yay! We're going home!
At last we can go and have fun, 'cause it's snowing
But it's just half an inch deep
I throw a snowball
Still it's just half an inch deep...
I've got catarrh and must sleep
I puked on the floor and at home I am staying
I've got catarrh and must sleep
I don't know why this awful timing, school's good when I'm away
Perhaps I'll die, death knells are chiming
They don't care I'm ill
I look at the sky and I notice it's snowing
I go to class and I sleep
This teacher's a bore and she just keeps on going
I go to class and I sleep
And though I try to hear what she told us
That snow holds my mind
Then they decide it's too cold for us
Yay! We're going home!
At last we can go and have fun, 'cause it's snowing
But it's just half an inch deep
I throw a snowball
Still it's just half an inch deep...

Ditto!
a wonderful quartet of songs...nice going...5s
Surely the performance should be credited to George Harrison only? I saw him in Birmingham, England with Eric (Clapon) December '69! Martin ps "Sweet Indigo" (or anyone who knows her), please contact me on: martin@packer34.freeserve.co.uk AS SOON AS POSSIBLE? MP
