The Lyrics

I swear this is NOT about me...see if you can spot the naughty double entendre!
Vanity
Hear me sing my praises endlessly
People tell me I'm in love with me
They would be too if they were me

Probably
Someone wrote this ditty just for me
I've got self-esteem enough for three
It's self-esteem, not vanity

Try on brand new pants
Check my ass - and it looks GREAT!
I know that I'm hot - I cannot
Equivocate

I'm so cute
Can I help it? I look good in boots!
You should see the way I play the flute
I'll tell you all how I'm so cute

I'm my biggest fan
Need no man to worship me
If I'm real or not, I've still got
My vanity

Vanity
I wish everyone were just like me!
What a better place the world would be
If everyone were just like me

Phil - Envy, avarice and sloth, one of my personal faves. Guy - extra points for the pun!

This is my FAVORITE deadly sin by far! Perhaps it goes without saying that it applies to me more than any other...; ) 5s...

People who are as gloriously humble as I am never suffer from vanity. Oh yeah, 555.

Thanks, everybody! 2nz - while I have been known to play an actual flute from time to time, may I reiterate that this parody is not about me? No, really, folks, gluttony, lechery and sloth are my favorites, particularly all at once. Amazon Princess - thanks for dropping by, baby! Mommy loves you! Post one of yours!

It´s hard to be humble when you´re soo damn good, ain´t it? :-)

Again, funny and very well-written: though "pants" and "ass" don't actually rhyme, that one small flaw isn't enough to knock points off my triple-5 vote.
