i saw the dead today...oh boy

it must have been the drugs i had
cause all i did was laugh
i thought i saw giraffes
my drug-filled mind felt so bizarre
began to notice that i felt deranged
this crowd of people came prepared
they'd seen this band before
everyone behaved absurd cause they were all on drugs, galore

when it was over, i was up for more
the band came on, then went away
but still my fanny shook
cause my brains were cooked

i'm up...too wired for bed
cause there's fireworks in my head
got to find some way to sober up
took too much...i wish that i was straight
saw some ghosts and several bats
they all flew around my flat
am i mad, upstairs ?...its hard to cope
