The Lyrics

Track 28 of Agrimorfee's "White" album. An omniscient view of small town life--but what exactly is going on in the chorus? Not funny, but interesting, once again.
Try baby try
Please don't ask me why
Don't say anything to upset her
Try baby try

A lady with a cold was pitching
Pennies loudly down the drain
A man was at the barber
Discussing all his future capital gain

A young boy was just starting
To play tackle football with his buddies today
A young girl in her bedroom
Was braiding pig-tails on her doll Susie J

A tired secretary was just filing
The papers for her boss' agency
Salesmen made reservations
For a convention in Memphis, Tennessee

A man was comig to install the cable
Hoped that there would not be a spark
The Cole Boys were out there
Proving Kelly's cocker spaniel couldn't bark

Maybe we should start over again
Maybe we should just backtrack...
Copyright 1997, 1998 Agrimorfee. Note the last two lines are actually the untitled and unsequenced "song" that Paul warbles just before "Revolution 9". Now obviously, "Revolution 9" could have been the next track in this project to parody. I have chosen not to attempt a parody. In my home recording of these songs, I instead created a weird sound collage in tribute to John Lennon and Yoko Ono's work which I entitled "I Witness (News At) 9" (in reference to my parody "I Witness"). The next, and final, parody in the "White" project is "Big Bite".
