Parody Song Title:

"Chemistry"

Parody Written by:

Jon Clemence

I wrote this in a desparate attempt to retain my sanity in my college Physical Science class.
Chemistry, it's such a boring, worthless class to me
I wish someone would come and rescue me
Oh, I'm despising chemistry

Suddenly, I can't feel my butt; it fell asleep
I would really like to be set free
Oh, chemistry is boring me

Why'd I take this class? I don't know, but now I'm stuck
I can't stand this class, but I guess I'm out of luck

Chemistry, was an extremely stupid class today
I just really want to get away
Oh, chemistry is Hell to me

Why'd I take this class? I don't know, but now I'm stuck
I can't stand this class, but I guess I'm out of luck

Chemistry, was an extremely stupid class today
I just really want to get away
Oh, chemistry is Hell to me

I'm glad there's not a test today
There's no chemistry at Jon's Page, I can assure you!

I completely disagree with your depiction of chemistry - I found it a really interesting subject. But that doesn't change the fact that it's a darn good parody.

Good parody. I didn't like Chemistry in high school, and I liked Physics even less.

As a chemist I also disagree with your depiction of chemistry, but this is a really cool parody. Do you have any parodies about biology? Because I really hated that!!!!!

How about English? Bio wasn't that bad, but nothing has ever been worse than in-class essays.

I'm a biologist. I don't understand why people don't like chemistry, but I can understand why they'd love your parody :)

Decent...I was hoping for more lyrics specific to chemistry though (you could replace chemistry with any class you want, and the song would still make sense). I'm biotech...chemistry's okay

Sorry, Jon, couldn't help myself: there's a pro-chemistry variant now...

Wow... hehe, it's funny coming upon a song like this, that I commented on last year before I learned of the suck that is college-level chemistry ;-). Especially one that happens to be my all-time favorite STEMs, Drugs and Rock and Roll song (a group that did Harvey Mudd-specific parodies a couple years ago). *hums* Energy. It's Planck's constant times the frequency. Load of good that knowledge does for me - 9:53 came suddenly.
