The Lyrics

Soup again? Don't I ever get tired of it? Why not go back to the next level and explain about it? John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo go back to the restaurant where they sell soup. There will even be more about it told by John in this parody.
[Intro]
(Soup?)
You wanna taste it?
(Soup?)
Not just gonna waste it.
(Soup?)
You wanna talk about...
soup?

[Verse 1: John Lennon]
Well, I walked into a restaurant the other night,
I kinda wondered what the waiters will serve me for tonight.
I sat at this old table, and waited here a while.
"What will you eat on this fine time?" the waiter said with a smile.

[Chorus: John Lennon]
Give me a bowl of chicken soup, if you please,
Pour some noodles in a bowl, and give it cheese.
It doesn't matter if it's hot or steamed.
Pour some soup for me.

[Verse 2: John Lennon]
I thought of making some quick and easy recipes,
Maybe some vegetables on it would be making me healthy,
Minestrone, or tom ka gai, any soup of any kind,
Just don't give me the one that has been eaten by the fly.

[Chorus: John Lennon]
Give me a bowl of chicken soup, if you please.
Pour some noodles on a bowl, and give it cheese.
It don't matter if it's hot or steamed.
Pour some soup for me.

[Verse 3: John Lennon]
I don't like when somebody yells, "No soup for you."
I think it was from the Seinfield episode that I knew.
That vendor just refused to serve her some service there,
I feel like he's The Soup Nazi, who just doesn't seem to care.

[Chorus: John Lennon]
Give me a bowl of chicken soup, if you please.
Pour some noodles on a bowl, and give it cheese.
It don't matter if it's hot or steamed.
Pour some soup for me.
For me, for me, yum...
Mamma mia, this bowl of meatball soup would be sweet and delicious like from the Ren and Stimpy episode...
Anyway, I hope you enj-WAHed the new Soup parody I thought of making. I might feel like doing more Beatles songs too and making an animated parody of my new Soup art.
Original song is owned by The Beatles.

You made me chuckle, D.W. Thanks, I needed that. You coould have offered vichysoisse or borscht on this menu.

Thank ya, Ag. Others never loved my first parody of Soup. Neither did those Weird Al impersonators. The soup man might have requested me to do the parody but who even cares.

To quote e.e. cummings, "Soup! Soup! Wonderful soup! Who would not give twop/ Ennyworth for beautiful soup!" Anyway, I saw something like that in a book about playing with words. Quite apropos for these not-yet-so-springlike spring days!
