I have never tasted Kohr's Frozen Custard, a creamy frozen dessert sold "down the Shore" since 1919; however, it is a favorite among many visitors to New Jersey's boardwalks.

It is a time-honored Seaside Heights favorite

Stop in for a creamy treat

I am hooked on that stuff but you can't get it where I'm from... So sad. It's the same with Rita's. I guess it's a sign we've still got some regionalism after all.

Amanda, do you have a Rita's in your area? Where I live in New Jersey, there's a Rita's within 5 miles. My go-to is Alex's Lemonade, but I'll order green apple or blood orange if available.

Interesting. Dryer's now makes frozen custard in six flavors. I've read that Targets with grocery sections carry it. I'll have to check it out.
