"Perry Goodbye"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

Yesterday, Texas Gov. and REP candidate Rick Perry quit the race and said goodbye, endorsing Newt Gingrich. He is the 4th to fall after Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann, and Jon Huntsman. A nice try, but too much tough competition and Perry never had what it will take to debate and defeat Obama anyway...
Texas guy
Texas pride

Numbers slide
Wonders why???

"Oops!", reply
Scrutinized
Votes decline
Well's run dry...

Rick Perry says goodbye!

[Oh well, was a nice try]
