Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Romney don't wanna' show his tax returns. My guess is he's paying NO TAX at all (while the rest of us pay 35%)....OR......he has a bunch of money hiding offshore. Either way, he's a crook!! Obama showed 10 years of tax returns.....cough em' up, Romney!!
Let me tell you 'bout Mitt Romney,
He's paying less than you and me,
Show us your taxes, man,
Yeah, show them taxes, man.

Fifteen per cent appears too small,
He probably pays no tax at all.
Show us your taxes, man,
Yeah, show them taxes, man.

(If you go too far), you'll face defeat,
(If you try to bulls**t), You'll feel the heat,
(If you get too bold), you'll be out on the street,
(If you face Obama), you'll get beat.

Show us your taxes, man,
Yeah, show them taxes, man.

Don’t ask us know what for
(Haha! Mister Romney!)
If you don’t, we'll expose you more
(Haha! Mister Mitt!),
Show us your taxes, man,
Yeah, show them taxes, man.

Now our advice if you should lie, (Taxes, man!)
You'll be in a scandal by July (Taxes, man!)
Show us your taxes, man,
Yeah, show them taxes, man.
And we’re voting for no-one who don't.....
(Taxes, man).

Fun parody.

Warren Buffet claims he pays taxes at a lower rate than his secretary. Mitt Romney could very likely make the same claim. They both are taxed, not on income, but for dividends and long term capital gains. Currently that is a 15% rate. Their secretaries are paid an income/salary. They are in a 35% tax rate. Some countries would tax Buffet/Romney at a higher rate, some countries at a lower rate. 15% is just about right. Any higher and you raise the risk of return in investments made in private sector businesses. Buffet/Romney invest in a company. If that company does well with that investment, they pay a good dividend to their shareholders. If the company goes under, the investor gets nothing. It's a risky venture. Tax those returns at 35%, the risk outweighs the possible gains and with fewer investors you get fewer jobs.

Mitt is the waxen man. He ain't sincere, a word that in folk etymology means "without wax."

No one is begrudging Romney his money.... good for him!!! But as President, he will be making policies that will make the rich richer and the rest of us will "smell the glove"
