Song Parodies -> "Isis Saves Lives"

Original Song Title:

"Wild Honey Pie"

Original Performer:

The Beatles

Parody Song Title:

"Isis Saves Lives"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

My 900th parody deals with the old '70s Saturday Filmation series "Isis" that starred Joanna Cameron as a HS science teacher Andrea Thomas who in times of peril puts on a precious amulet she found during an archeological dig and calls out, "Oh Mighty Isis"... instantly changing into her with super powers! I was just 10 yrs old when I first saw her on tv and had a big crush on her. In my adulthood I got to meet her and have a signed pic of her hanging on my wall. A real pleasure! Since then there have been new Isis comics and a planned movie, but hopefully NOT with Megan Fox as rumored!!!
Precious find
Precious find

Gifts divine
Gifts divine

"Isis" cry
Then she flies
Fighting guys
Saving lives

A teacher in disguise

[Rick can't believe his eyes!]

I'm amazed at how many takes you can get on such minimal original material.

You met Isis? Cool! I remember seeing Joanna Cameron in a Playboy that I found under my brother's bed, so I was already pretty excited when she got cast as Isis.

JAB- it's not that hard b/c it is so simple. I take ideas from the newspaper and other materials I know by heart and just write whatever comes to mind. Porfle, yeah Joanna Cameron was my first screen girl I had a crush on and then moved on to Lindsay Wagner, Farrah, and Suzanne Sommers in the '70s. I love Filmation and the old Sat morning shows of the '70s which IMHO were the BEST!!! My Isis signed photo is on my celebrity wall- met a lot during the last 4 decades!!!
