Parody Song Title:

"I Saw Her Rainbow Hair"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Well, she was for the other team
You know what I mean
But the way she looked
Could lure me over there
So how could I root for another, whoo
Since I saw her rainbow hair

Well, she looked so swell
And I, I could tell
That before too long,
I'd cheer along with her
She wouldn't root with another, whoo
When I saw her rainbow hair

Well my beer went flyin'
When they crossed that line
And I cheered her team as mine, eee-eee

Oh we screamed through the game
And we yelled each player's name
And before the half
I bought us caps to wear
Now I'll never root for another, whoo
Since I saw her rainbow hair

Well, the crowd went nuts
When we flashed our butts
At the other team's forward line, eee-eee

Oh, we screamed till the gun
And our favorite team had won
When my friends found out
They hit me with a chair
But I'll never root for another, whoo
Since I saw her rainbow hair
Oh, since I saw her rainbow hair
Yeah, well since I saw her rainbow hair

PP, I prefer the girls with the golden hair ;-D

These days I'll settle for anything.

Good one... reminds me of someone I see around my neighborhood with multicolored dreadlocks who wears tie-dyes. I kind of have multicolored hair, it has dark auburn highlights and a natural copper tinge shading to golden blonde and strawberry blonde, and is naturally red... but I'm not the rainbow-haired girl in your parody by any means... 5s.

Your hair sounds nice--you're definitely not a Rainbow Head. (Do people still remember watching a game and seeing Rainbow Heads in the crowd?)
Andria - September 08, 2011 - Report this comment
Yes it is, Porfle... :-)

Perhaps this is a regional thing because I have no idea what you're on about during this parody. Rainbow hair? I understood some of it but I was a bit lost... To tell you the truth.

(Ages Round 1, 2011) Already voted and commented, not knowing that it was for Ages (don't visit the messageboard enough) but it's still as good as before... I think Rainbow Heads might have been regional...

Hey Andria, your hair color sounds very nice indeed. There have been multicolor hair styles for a long time. I've seen black men wear the "bumblebee" - that's their regular kinky hair colored with yellow stripes to resemble a bumblebee! Also, the natural redhead Cyndi Lauper at one time colored her hair in "rainbow" colors.

I think it's more of an age thing than a regional thing. I remember Rainbow Head getting camera time during NFL games. And either SNL or SCTV spoofed him on one of their shows.

(Ages R1 '11) Man, I would wonder how I'd look with Rainbow Hair. Another tribute for a sports fan with Rainbow Hair. You performed this ditty with flying colors, that's for sure!

Thanks Christie! Here's an article I found about Rainbow Head for those who don't remember him: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/128483-oh-where-have-you-gone-sweet-rainbow-head

(AofA) For what this is, it's good. Solid pacing, a few funny lines, it was okay. Keep it up.

Is this about Rainbow Dash?

Thanks, Blaydeman. Loltroll--if it works for you that way, then yes!

Ages...I thought this was fun. I'd never switch teams, regardless of how fabulous or cute an opposing fan was...but this made me smile anyway. :)
Porfle Popnecker - September 15, 2011 - Report this comment
Thanks, Arwen! I think I could switch teams for a game or two, anyway.

As much as I love the OS (my favorite Beatles song), I have no idea what this is about haha. For what it is worth, the pacing was really good and the rhymes with the original song were spot on, nice job!

Thanks!

I too was very lost with this one. I'm a young'in on this site, so this older reference goes a little over my head. Pacing was good, so there's that.
Porfle Popnecker - September 21, 2011 - Report this comment
I promise--no more Rainbow Head references!

(Ages3) D'aww, that was adorable. A bit simplistic, but still adorable. Loved the chair line. 555 for you!
