Original Song Title:

"In My Life"

Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"With My Note"

Parody Written by:

Detective Mask

The Lyrics

The parody deals with the popular anime and manga series Death Note. Specifically, it's about Light Yagami, the main character of the series.
I.
There were people I've encountered
In my life, and they were killed.
Some were robbers, some were slayers.
Some were jailed and some were free.

Refrain:
All these people did injustice
With neighbors and friends, I still can recall.
All are dead and none are living.
With my Note, I've killed them all.

II.
But of all these thieves and killers,
There is no one compares with L.
And their murders lose their meaning
When I think of L as someone dead.

Refrain 2:
Though I know I'll never be in heaven
For sinners and goons that I have killed,
I know you'll often stop to thank to Kira.
With my Note, I've changed the world.

(Instrumental)

(Repeat Refrain 2)

With my Note, I've changed the world.
