Last week, we had Mon-Thurs off of school because of horrific weather conditions. Power outages, bad roads, and snow... OH MY! I caught a severe case of cabin fever. We are slowly getting back into the swing of things, but I wrote this song anyway.

All the schools are cancelled for today
But it looks as though it's here to stay
Oh I believe
The snow will stay
Suddenly
The snow on the ground's perplexing me
The weatherman said it reached 5 feet
Oh snowy days
Are scaring me
Why it had to snow
I don’t know, I say "por qué"
I've been locked inside
It's day 5, What's with snow days?

If school cancelled, I would say "HOORAY!"
But this snow could be here til mid-May
I can't believe these snowy days

Grew up in NE Ohio. Saw ONE snow day in 12 years of school. Back in the day we walked to school thru miles of snow in below zero weather. Uphill. Both ways. Now they close the schools every time there is a stray flake...
